The first Gringos was opened in 1983 on Maiden Lane in Joplin, Missouri, throughout the years, 5 more locations were opened.
I had been the General Manager of all 6 Gringo locations for over 10 years and my husband was in charge of repairs and maintenance since 2002.
March of 2007 we purchased the Webb City location, and the other locations were sold to a different company. Since Chris and I had worked for the original Gringos we had the experience necessary to uphold the same standards the original owner had started.
Our food quality has remained the same for the last 30 years. We pride ourselves in having one of the cleanest restaurants in town.
Our hamburger meat is fresh, not frozen, purchased form Wordens Meat of Webb City (former Southtown Meat, joplin) There are no fillers in our meat. ( Meat and seasoning only) Our beans are made fresh daily from whole beans, not dried or packaged. We only serve high quality, fresh foods. We fry our taco shells,chips & ect... daily.
Our goal is for great customer service; to make our customers feel welcome and not to be that standard fast food store. We greet and wait on each customer equally.
